Researchers at our Ann Arbor, Michigan and Tokyo, Japan R&D facilities partner with Olympus to develop state of the art minimally invasive and less invasive technologies for the cardiac surgery market.

The VirtuoSaph™ Endoscopic Vein Harvesting System launched in 2005 provides an endoscopic approach to saphenous vein harvesting previously not available in the cardiac surgery operating room. Smaller incisions and stab wounds improve patient comfort, minimize infection and shorten post–operative recovery.
